Boeing Business Jets Launches Widebody VIP Airplanes

ORLANDO, Fla., Oct. 17, 2006 -- Boeing [NYSE: BA] Business Jets today announced it has won seven orders for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner and 747-8.

Undisclosed customers have ordered one 787-8, three 787-9 and three 747-8 airplanes specifically designated for the VIP market. These orders are already reflected on Boeing's Orders and Deliveries website. Boeing does not reveal the identity of private owners at the request of its customers.

Boeing and Singapore Airlines Finalize Dreamliner Order

Boeing Image SEATTLE, Oct. 11, 2006 -- The Boeing Company [NYSE:BA] announced today that Singapore Airlines has ordered 20 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, with purchase rights for 20 additional airplanes. The airline originally announced the selection of and intent to purchase the 787-9 in June.

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, Oct. 09, 2006 -- Boeing [NYSE: BA] and Emirates today finalized an order for 10 747-8 Freighters during an official ceremony held at Dubai's Department of Civil Aviation. The ceremonial signing was made by HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al-Maktoum, Emirates chairman and CEO, and Boeing's Dubai-based sales director, Ken Schulz.

Boeing Delivers 747-400ER Freighter to NCA

EVERETT, Wash., Oct. 03, 2006 -- The Boeing Company [NYSE: BA] and Nippon Cargo Airlines (NCA) celebrated the delivery of the airline's newest Boeing 747-400 Freighter and the first delivery during the carrier's new management plan, the "Phoenix Project." The new airplane departed Paine Field in Everett today to join the all-747 NCA fleet, the first to do so since the Phoenix Project introduction earlier this year. The delivery was also the first for Boeing's newly remodeled Everett Delivery Center.

SEATTLE, Oct. 03, 2006 -- Boeing [NYSE: BA] confirmed that Travel Service, the largest private airline company in the Czech Republic, placed an order for two Next-Generation 737-900ERs with advanced-technology Blended Winglets. The airline holds purchase rights for an additional two airplanes of the same model.

CAIRO, Egypt, Oct. 01, 2006 -- Boeing [NYSE: BA] and EgyptAir today marked delivery of the airline's first Next-Generation 737-800 by announcing the Cairo-based carrier's exercise of options for six additional 737-800s. The total order for 12 airplanes is valued at $850 million at list prices and marks a significant investment by EgyptAir to bolster its regional operations with the highly efficient and reliable 737.
