- KLM Exercises Model Substitution Rights on 777s
 Michael Rosa SEATTLE, Nov. 13, 2006 -- The Boeing Company [NYSE: BA] today confirmed that KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, part of the Air France/KLM Group, placed several orders this year for a total of six Boeing Next-Generation 737s. These orders have been accounted for on Boeing's Orders and Deliveries Web site under the unidentified customer category. The order is valued at approximately $423 million at list prices. |

LOUIS, Nov. 08, 2006 -- The first Boeing [NYSE: BA] C-17 Globemaster III for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) completed its maiden flight Nov. 7, logging a major milestone in preparation for the delivery to the RAAF later this month. With a gross takeoff weight of 458,000 lbs. (207,745 kg.), the advanced airlifter lifted off from the Long Beach Airport, Calif., at 11:03 a.m. Pacific time and flew for more than five hours before returning to the facility where Boeing assembles and tests C-17s prior to delivery. |

 Boeing Photo SEATTLE, Nov. 08, 2006 -- The Boeing Company [NYSE: BA] has started using a moving assembly line for the first time to build its market-leading 777 jetliner. For now, the moving assembly line is used only during final assembly positions for the airplane, moving it at a steady pace of 1.6 inches per minute during production. Earlier this year, Boeing began work to transform its 777 assembly line into a leaner and more efficient production system. This initial use of a moving line during final assembly represents substantial progress with that transformation effort. |

Boeing achieved this milestone after a year of collaboration with airline customers and suppliers to determine the optimal configuration.By completing firm configuration, Boeing has completed the major trade-studies needed to finalize the airplane's performance capability. This allows Boeing and its suppliers to begin detailed design of parts, assemblies and other systems for the 747-8 Freighter. Once completed, the detailed designs will then be released to Boeing suppliers and factories to begin production of the airplane. |

The airline was founded by a group of pilots in 2000 and began operations in 2001. Buraq Air's newest fleet addition arrived at the airline's home base in Tripoli today after departing Boeing Field on Saturday. Buraq Air's second 737-800 is scheduled for delivery next month. |

The new airplane, a 737-800, will go into revenue service with Kenya Airways and is the first 737-800 to join Kenya's fleet, which currently includes four 737-700s. |

 Ted Whiteside ST. LOUIS, Oct. 30, 2006 -- Boeing [NYSE: BA] successfully transferred fuel for the first time Oct. 23 from its KC-767 Tanker advanced boom to a simulated receiver on the ground. Through a series of tests at the Boeing Integrated Defense Systems facility in Wichita, Kan., boom operators on-board the aircraft used the aerial refueling systems to offload fuel from the new tanker to an aircraft receptacle on the ground. Fuel flow, delivery and surge pressure all were measured while the fuel was pumped to nearby trucks. |
